Well.. my fellow readers. Since i dont update this blog a long time, and probably i will not update it any longer, except for some contributors like Luis Davim, that post something here from time to time, is time to say that my new project will finally see the light on the end of this month.
I have found a web developer that is responsable and very skilled. So i´m now on a good mood and very excited with my near future rearding helping Linux users.
I have invested good amount of cash in my new projet by now and for that i think that i maybe would sell this blog.
A few months ago a user mailled me asking if i would like to sell it. Unfortunatly my hard drive screwd up and i lost all data including emails. So i had never sent a response.
If anyone is interrested drop me a line.
In the meantime stay tunned in UbuntuEssentials for new stuff regarding my new project.
Cheers
Alex

After almost 3 months working on my new project i could not find a coder that could do my new wordpress theme.
I have created an account on GetACoder, which is a freelancers web site, searching for some good css/xhtml developer but nothing. I have only encountered incompetent people that tried to scam me.
So here i am with nothing in my hands except lots of content that i have gathered over this 3 months… oh and with less 200 bucks that the GetACoder staff still have to refund me. But i´m starting to believe that will never happen.
Frustration, frustration and more frustration…
Is there anyone out there that could code me a wordpress theme? My budget is not very high. I can only pay between 200 and 250 dollars.
The theme itself is not very usual to see in wordpress. I have already an html mockup of the theme. All the graphics (images ,logos etc) are already made. I just need someone who could code well.
If anyone is interested of earning some extra cash doing this please contact me.

As you all now, my fellow readers, i have not been updated this site as i had promissed. And it´s not because of lack of time. I have now more free time than i could imagine a few months ago.
The thing is that i´m working on a new and exciting new project related of course with Linux and i´m dedicating all my time to it.
I cannot tell you right now whats the project´s about. It´s a secret :), but i can tell you that, if my assumptions are correct, this will be great for the community. And will fill the gap in some things in Linux.
The problem is that i cannot code. It´s not my job and it´s not my priority for the next 20 years. I am a web designer. I have some understanding on how some languages work but i dont need to learn them. That is the job of a software engineer.
The thing is that i have this crazy idea of making something really cool. I have designed the layout of the project and had gone find help on a freelancer site called GetACoder. I have posted my project and received some proposals from freelance coders. I have awarded one user and he told me that he could code the layout in 3 days for somenting like 200 dollars. Sort of. I´m european so i am not always updated with the latest currency convertion.
The prick has accepted the job and i had contact with him for about 0ne week. After that he has vanished. I´m not worried with the mooney because i haven´t paid him yet but i have a tremendous bad feeling that he will use my idea on is behalf.
I really hope not. Please pray for me. The project will be posted again in GetaCoder but this time i will choose a premium coder. More mooney will be invested of course, more profissionalism=more $.
If everything will work ok this time in the middle of this month you will see my new baby born.
Cheers
Alex
